πŸ”— What Is a Connection in Tradesyncer?

In Tradesyncer, a connection refers to the link between our platform and a group of trading accounts managed under the same broker or platform login credentials.

How It Works:

If you have multiple trading accounts with the same provider and access them using one set of login credentials, they are grouped and managed as one connection in Tradesyncer.

However, if you manage additional accounts using different login credentials, even on the same platform, they will count as separate connections.

πŸ“Œ Example:

  • You have 3 Tradovate accounts from Prop Firm A, all under the same login:
βœ… This counts as 1 connection.

  • You purchase additional Tradovate accounts from Prop Firm B with different login credentials:
    βœ… This is considered a 2nd connection.

  • You have 4 Rithmic accounts at Prop Firm C, with different login credentials:
    βœ… This counts as a 3rd connection.

  • You have 6 dxFeed accounts at Prop Firm D, with different login credentials:
    βœ… This counts as a 4th connection.

Even though both account sets use the same broker (Tradovate), they are separate connections because the login credentials differ.

This structure allows Tradesyncer to manage your accounts efficiently, while also giving you clarity on how connections count toward your subscription plan.
