Note: This feature works best when used together with our Follower Protection feature.

What it does

When this settings is turned on, we only copy your executed filled orders. Pending orders are not copied. This includes limit, stop market, stop limit, and any order type that is not a market order. Followers receive a market order each time the leader gets (partially) filled, with the same direction and size.

How it works

• The leader trades as normal with any order type.
• Pending orders like limit, stop market, stop limit, and other non-market variations are ignored on the follower side.
• Any fill on the leader triggers a market order on the follower.
• The follower order uses the same direction and size as the leader fill.
• Partial fills also copy. Each partial fill on the leader creates a matching market order on the follower.

Why this reduces copy issues

• No missed trades on followers. Pending orders could fail to fill or fill late, so we skip them and only copy executed fills.
• No size mismatches. Followers never deal with partial fills on pending orders. Each leader fill produces a clean market order with the exact filled size and direction.
• No broker delay or rate-limit problems. Followers send far fewer orders because they never place or modify pending orders.
• No errors from incorrect order copying. There are no issues with open, close, modify, or cancel actions on pending orders because followers do not hold them.
• No desync caused by leader changes to pending orders. Adjustments to stops, limits, or any non-market order never need to sync.

Cons you should understand

• Followers always enter with market orders. Price could move between the leader fill and the follower fill.
• This could create small spread differences or slight execution delay.
• Followers could get a worse or better price than the leader.
• These price differences are normal for any market-only execution method.

What this means for you

• Leaders trade normally without changing their workflow.
• Followers copy only executed fills with the correct direction and size.
• Expect normal market-based price differences on entries and exits.

Result & Where to find

A clean and reliable copy process. Followers track the leader’s executed positions without typical issues caused by pending order copying. This setting can be turned off/on in the cockpit depending on your preference
