How to manually import trades

Export a CSV from Tradovate, ProjectX or Rithmic and upload it to Tradesyncer Journalling.

You can import your trade history into Tradesyncer Journalling by exporting a CSV from your broker and uploading it. The export steps differ by broker. The upload step is the same for all of them.

Step 1: Export a CSV from your broker

Tradovate

  1. After logging in to Tradovate, click the Account tab, then choose the account to export trades for.

  2. Click the settings icon next to the account to open the settings for that account.

  3. Click the Orders tab.

  4. Enter the dates you wish to export, and click Go.

  5. Click Download CSV to download the file.

ProjectX

  1. In ProjectX, find the Trades tab and click EXPORT in the bottom right corner.

  2. Save the file in CSV format to your desktop.

Rithmic

Log in to R Trader Pro, Rithmic's native broker, then follow these steps:

  1. Go to Recent Orders, or Order History for older trades.

  2. Select an account.

  3. Select a date.

  4. Right-click anywhere in the column headings in the Completed Orders section, click Add/Remove columns and add the QTY filled column.

  5. Click Export as CSV.

  6. Save the file in CSV format to your desktop.

Step 2: Upload the file to Tradesyncer

In the Tradesyncer dashboard, click Upload Data and select the file you just downloaded.
