Auto-Sync Journaling

The Auto-Sync feature makes it easy to keep your Tradesyncer Journal up to date by automatically importing your trades directly from your broker connection.

⚙️ How It Works

For every account you add in Tradesyncer, you’ll have two ways to sync:

1) Dashboard Sync (daily)

On the Dashboard (Journaling module), you’ll see a Sync button.

  • Clicking Sync will sync all accounts currently added to Tradesyncer.

  • It syncs only today’s trades, starting from the CME open.

  • All synced trades (including broker fees) are securely stored in your Tradesyncer Journal.

2) Manage Data Sync (custom range)

In Manage Data, you can sync each account individually and choose a specific time range.

  • Recommended for older/backfilling data (previous days/weeks).

  • Also supports managing both autosynced and manually uploaded trades in the same place.

Recommended workflow:
Use Manage Data to sync/import older trades, then keep everything up to date with the daily Dashboard Sync (which syncs all accounts for that day).

🗑️ Managing Data

You can delete trades at any time under Manage Data.

  • Manage autosynced and manually uploaded trades from the same page..
