Hyperprop is a trading platform for prop firm accounts. When you connect it to Tradesyncer, the accounts from every prop firm on your Hyperprop login are imported together. This article covers the Tradesyncer side: adding the connection, managing its accounts, copy trading and journal sync. To create the API key you'll need, see How to connect Hyperprop to Tradesyncer in the Hyperprop Help Center.
Before you start
You'll need:
An active Tradesyncer subscription
The email address you use to log in to Hyperprop
A Hyperprop API key (see How to connect Hyperprop to Tradesyncer)
Add the connection
Go to the Connections page. From the main menu, click Connections.
Add a new connection. Click Add connection, then choose Hyperprop.
Name the connection. Enter a unique name of up to 32 characters.
Enter your Hyperprop email. Use the email you log in to Hyperprop with. It must belong to the same Hyperprop account as the API key.
Paste your API key and click Connect.
You don't pick a prop firm: Tradesyncer imports your accounts from every prop firm on your Hyperprop login. Once the connection is live, its status dot turns green.
Note: Accounts that have passed or failed at Hyperprop aren't imported. If an account passes or fails later, Tradesyncer switches it off and hides it automatically.
Turn your accounts on
Click the Hyperprop connection to expand it and see its accounts. Each account has an Enabled switch, and accounts imported when you add the connection start enabled. A disabled account doesn't appear in the Cockpit, Risk Management or the Journal.
Added a new account in Hyperprop after connecting? Open the ⋮ menu on the connection and click Refresh. New accounts come in switched off, so turn them on afterwards.
Copy trading with Hyperprop accounts
Hyperprop accounts can be leaders or followers, and you can combine them with accounts from your other platforms in the same group. Set up your groups in the Cockpit as usual. See How to create and manage copy trading groups.
For how Hyperprop handles copied orders, including supported order types, futures-only copying and your prop firm's rules, see How to connect Hyperprop to Tradesyncer. If a copied order is rejected, see What are failed/reject orders and how to prevent them.
Important: If you use Hyperprop's built-in copy trading, turn it off for the accounts you copy with Tradesyncer. Otherwise the same trade is copied twice.
Sync Hyperprop trades to your journal
Open the Journaling dashboard. From the main menu, click Journaling → Dashboard.
Start a sync. Click Manage data, then Sync Data.
Choose what to sync. Pick your Hyperprop connection, the accounts (or All accounts) and a date range of up to 31 days, then start the sync.
Good to know:
Only closed trades are imported. Each one comes in as a complete trade with its entry, exit, P&L, fees and commission. A position that's still open shows up once you close it and sync again.
The Hyperprop connection must be enabled to sync.
Accounts that passed or failed are skipped.
For more on syncing and managing your journal data, see How to use Auto-Sync journaling.
Troubleshooting
The connection won't add. Check that you entered the email you log in to Hyperprop with and pasted the whole API key. Revoked keys don't work, so create a new key in Hyperprop if you're not sure.
"Your Hyperprop API key is invalid or was revoked." Create a new API key in Hyperprop (see How to connect Hyperprop to Tradesyncer). Then delete the Hyperprop connection in Tradesyncer, add it again with the new key, and check your groups in the Cockpit.
An account is missing. Accounts that passed or failed at Hyperprop aren't imported. For an account you added in Hyperprop after connecting, click ⋮ → Refresh on the connection, then turn the new account on.
"Hyperprop unavailable". Hyperprop isn't responding right now. Wait a moment and try again.
A trade is missing from the journal. Only closed trades are imported. Close the position, check that the connection is enabled and sync again.
