[Lab] How to add a Vest connection

Connect Vest to Tradesyncer, import your Vest Capital accounts, and fix an expired Vest login.

Tradesyncer copies trades between your Vest accounts: one account leads, and your other accounts follow it automatically. This guide shows how to connect Vest, what gets imported, and what to do if Vest asks you to log in again.

Note: This is an unofficial integration. Tradesyncer is not affiliated with Vest. By connecting, you use it at your own risk.

Tradesyncer Lab: Perpetuals are currently a Tradesyncer Lab feature. Tradesyncer Lab is where we test new features before they're released to everyone, so the Perpetuals tab only shows on accounts that have it enabled.

Before you start

  • A Tradesyncer plan. Vest connections count toward your plan's connection limit, together with your futures connections.

  • Your Vest login email. If you created your Vest account with Google, that's fine. Use that same Google email address.

  • A Vest Capital account. Tradesyncer imports your Vest Capital (funded and evaluation) accounts. Live Vest accounts aren't imported.

Add the connection

  1. Open Add connection. In Tradesyncer, go to Connections and click Add connection.

  2. Choose Vest. Select the Perpetuals tab, then choose Vest.

  3. Name your connection. Give the connection a name, for example "Vest". You'll see this name in your connections list and cockpit.

Log in to Vest

  1. Click Log in to Vest. Vest's login opens in its own window.

  2. Enter your email address and click Submit. Google sign-in isn't available here. If you signed up with Google, enter that Google email address; it's the same Vest account.

  3. Enter the code Vest sends to your email.

  4. Tradesyncer connects automatically and the window closes by itself.

On your phone: tap the email field in the Vest login to bring up your keyboard, type your email, and press Go. Do the same for the code.

Can't log in in the window? Click Can't log in here? Use the bookmark instead and follow the two steps shown. The bookmark connects your Vest account from Vest's own website.

Set up copy trading

  1. Your Vest Capital accounts appear under the connection. New Vest accounts start in the Perpetuals group.

  2. Go to Cockpit and switch to the perpetuals cockpit.

  3. Choose one account as the leader and the others as followers. Trades placed on the leader are copied to the followers.

Good to know:

  • Perpetuals copy to perpetuals only. A group holds either futures or perpetuals accounts, never both, so a Vest leader can only copy to other perpetuals accounts.

  • Accounts per connection. Your plan sets how many accounts per connection can lead or follow. Basic allows 10, Pro allows 20, and Flex has no limit. Switching an account off frees its place.

If Vest asks you to log in again

For security, Vest can end a login, for example if you log out of Vest on all devices or change your password. When that happens:

  • Copying on that connection stops.

  • The connection shows Token Expired.

  • You get a notification in Tradesyncer and an email.

To fix it, click Reconnect on the Connections page and log in with the same Vest account. Your accounts, groups and copy settings stay exactly as they were.

Troubleshooting

Problem

What to do

"Vest logins are busy right now"

Wait a minute and try again, or use the bookmark.

"That is a different Vest login"

Reconnect with the Vest account this connection was created with.

"You've reached your connection limit"

Upgrade your plan or remove a connection.

The keyboard doesn't show on my phone

Tap directly on the field you want to type in.

No accounts appear after connecting
